My thoughts on the season finale. First off, a big shout out to The Acolyte for making me (someone with literally no former knowledge of star wars and what its about) actually interested in the universe and curious to know more.

My girl Mae. I love her, she did nothing wrong ever. Her sacrificing her memories of her sister in order for Osha to achieve what *she* wants was beautiful and such a 180 moment Also, the fight scene between them? Exquisite. The way she set up Sol? I could have kissed her on the lips for that. I need for her to be happy though :3

Qimir. My best boy. He is so down bad for Osha and its actually hilarious. They're already a married couple your honour, they protect, they bicker, THEY TOUCH (that thumb touch was just so intimate holy fuck; also when they held hands at the end). His fight scenes with Sol? Fucking immaculate. That moment when he took off his helmet to fight? MUAH. Chef's kiss. His reaction to his old Master? :( I wanted to give him a hug.

Osha. My other girl. I love her, she can do no wrong either. I love that we saw her anger, her fighting abilities, also that she forgave and apologised to her sister at the end which was such a poignant and beautiful moment. I'm glad she's giving into her desires. Her and Qimir as a couple are gonna be a force to be reckoned with (did you see what I did there; please clap for me).

Sol. His ending was poetic justice but gosh, I still feel a bit sad over him. The fact he still couldn't say that his actions 16 years ago were wrong and steeped in bias was so f*cking frustrating.

Vernestra. She can choke. Qimir and Osha are gonna come for her ass in season 2, mark my words.

Shoutout to the senator!!! He came and spoke and he is now one of my faves.

My prediction for season 2 (i'm manifesting it): we'll explore Qimir's background and why he was so triggered by seeing that green headed twot. Qimir and Osha are gonna fully be in their lovers era, training, causing mayhem, some kissy kissy too. We could also potentially see our duo trying to save Mae because i dont trust she's safe.

Astrology observations part 2. 🪽

- I have noticed that all the people I have dated,liked me or I had crush on. Have fire placements and mostly Sagittarius.

- speaking of Sagittarius. I have to say that men are the type to notice they are in love with you way too late and by then they will not admitted it because they are emotionally aloof or maybe are afraid of rejection.

- also speaking of the same sign. I have seen Sagittarius and Scorpio have the best best friend duo. They just match so well because they complete each other.

- Virgo and Capricorns have anxiety issues. (My best friend who is Capricorn went to therapy for that and my mom who is Virgo rising when something happens she freaks out).

- i might be a Pisces myself but I found other Pisces suns weird. (An old ex was Pisces sun and he was weird and musty). On the other hand Pisces placements are my fave.

- I’ve noticed that some virgo suns are problematic or had a problematic phase. Sometimes it’s because they have an attitude or because they are a little bit immature. Especially combined with fire placements.

- my love for Capricorns is huge but I have to admit that they can be very sharp and cold people if u try them. They have more patients than a Taurus but if u cross their limits u are out forever.

- all scorpio man will be possessive not matter the other placements

- Pisces and Gemini duo is a little bit underrated. If they both are mature and developed then their friendship will be amazing.

- remember when I said how cold Capricorns can be? Well the same goes for cancer. They are sharp and will cut you off without explaining. At least u will get an explanation from Capricorn.

- Aquarius placements can make any water sun more aloof and detached.

- Virgo moons are made to be stars. See how many celebs have that moon. They are lyric genius🤌🏻

- Scorpio moons or any other placement show that the person had to matured sooner or have been through a lot in their childhood.

- Capricorns and scorpios have very intense eyes.

- Gemini,Sagittarius and Pisces will do the most out of the blue things. Gemini will start a new study, Sagittarius will go into an unplanned trip and Pisces will pretend to be a scientist and try create new stuff by ruining the things they already had. (I used to do that when I was a kid)

- Capricorns and Aquarius the dry texters of the zodiac

- and speaking of those 2. They are an underrated couple. (My cousin married an Aquarius man and they have a beautiful relationship with no problems at all)

- libra sun/moon might had social anxiety or hated doing things alone.

- as a Pisces myself I can’t get along with my sister sign. All Virgo turn to hate me secretly or not just hitting well.

let’s see…some headcanons.

a lot of my interpretation of leshawna is based around my headcanon that she grew up in a very female-dominated household. i think her parents separated when she was very young (she and gwen have this in common) and she and her mom moved in with her mom’s sister (leshaniqua’s mom). her mom was dealing with a lot and kinda became a little cold and distant, so leshawna’s closer to her aunt and cousin than her mom. not that there isn’t a lot of love anyway, but her mom was never quite the same after that. she didn’t get to see her dad much as a kid because he ended up moving to a different province, but he made sure she knew she was loved when he did see her. leshaniqua’s dad passed from a terminal illness, so it’s the sisters and their kids living together.

as a result though leshawna is actually a very private person and her circle of trust is rather small, despite how sociable and outgoing she is. she’s very close with leshaniqua and would often go to her for advice when needed, but sometimes she’d speak with her aunt as well. she feels the need to not be a burden on her family because of all the hardship they’ve endured, which is where her insistence that she never cries comes from. her upbringing is also part of why she’s so hesitant about engaging in a relationship with harold, because her parents weren’t together to model what romantic love should look like for her.

she and leshaniqua share a room, and i’ve also pondered about leshawna having a younger brother. leshaniqua has sisters as well but they’re older and generally moved out.

as far as interests…i actually have a hc that leshawna likes to paint! again she keeps it rather to herself, but it’s something that soothes her and helps her be alone when needed. i also have a small hc that she loved strawberry shortcake growing up and orange blossom was her fave which is why she has oranges on her shirt. no idgaf that they’re canonically kumquats. they’re oranges.

leshawna’s also actually one of the most athletic characters in her generation (she seeds highest on her team in “million dollar babies”, over duncan and presumably even over courtney) but i haven’t quite figured out where she expresses that athleticism. track and field/shotput maybe? just personal training? idk. she's obviously very physically strong and has a high level of endurance.

otherwise i actually kinda think she’s a little bit of a homebody/prefers sorta low energy activities like just hanging out at the mall or around school. did you ever see those groups of girls in high schools that were always just kinda chilling? i feel like she had a few friends that she would just move around with in a unit LOL

she also had a guilty pleasure in reality television and talkshows which is what got her entangled in total drama in the first place, and why she kept doing reality tv after (tyler and leshawna reality tv duo from celebrity manhunt i did not forget you). i don't have a very clear idea of what her post-canon endeavours look like tbh, even in "before we die" she only says she wants to be a millionaire so i suspect she'd keep taking the tv and fame route for that. @/itsdivineart has a rather nice older leshawna tbh!!

i love...all of leshawna's canon relationships tbh. she's very personable and she plays off of the rest of the cast very well. some underappreciated ones imo is her dynamic with courtney (i have a whole thread on twitter about it LOL) and of course her friendship with lindsay. but her friendships with gwen and dj are also super excellent ♥♥

i also hc that leshawna and heather begrudgingly ended up spending time together because they're both friends with harold and dj HAHA

I’ll start off with my fave: baijiu x zhuo yichen. There is something so tragically beautiful about how zhuo yichen lost his older brother and got a younger brother in baijiu. He looked up to his older brother, and baijiu looks up to him. He is slowly learning how to be that older brother that was taken away from him

zhuo yichen x zhuyan: supposedly sworn blood enemies with a blood feud but exudes an immensely enemy to lovers 100k fic vibe. the bickering?? The fighting?? Lowk flirting?? They CONSTANTLY PICK ON EACH OTHER. don’t get me started on how zhuo yichen will have to kill zhuyan later on because of that blood feud.

lilun x zhuyan: ??? lilun is literally that bitter ex??? Jokes aside, the downfall of their relationship makes me cry. Their story is so lovers to enemies coded. It’s the never ending hounding from lilun, and zhuyan doesn’t help because he knows everything that has to do with lilun

pei sijing x wen xiao: why are they so cute together! cold grumpy & quiet x sweet warm & plucky,, they deserve more screen time! All their scenes with each other are so heartwarming tbh. No one talks about the scene where wen xiao writes on sijing’s palm to calm her down.

baijiu x yinglei: the brothers we never knew we needed. They’re so mischievous together I LOVE THEM

ofc wen xiao x zhuyan: are they besties?? a couple of besties??? Idek. If this drama is trying to pass off as het, this main cp isn’t too convincing for me but they’re cute! Would rather them be besties

zhuo yichen x wen xiao: literally the best protective younger brother and older sister duo

zhuyan x baijiu: nothing like a 30000 year old demon scaring the shit out of a 13 year old while also clearly harbouring good intentions, gentleness and care toward him.

And I really love qing geng x fei! I bawled my eyes out at their story

I love the Agatha Christie question!

Who are your HP/Twilight faves in the Christie universe? (Who’s the opportunist who knows too much and dies for it? Who’s the conman killer who courts the girl to avoid suspicion? Who’s just trying to take a holiday and gets caught-up in a murder? Who are the dynamic mystery-solving duo who realize they are in love by the end of the novel? etc.).

I mean, that is kind of what The Man Who Would Be King (and secret fic) (both cowritten with @theoriginalcarnivorousmuffin) have already become. We have our murder victim, Alphard, a very rich man with a colorful family, and possibly his sister, we have our unlikely detectives in Voldemort, Lily Potter, and Alphard himself. It may not be the center of the story but it's a large part of it.

In other words my answer for Harry Potter would somehow spoil all my present and future fics so I won't.

As for the Twilight version...

I vote we do it wealthy dysfunctional family style, it's most natural.

A patriarch is poisoned

Carlisle Cullen, a very wealthy man with powerful enemies, nonetheless dear to those around him and blessed with more friends than most, is found dead in his office one morning. Cause of death? Murder.

The police, caught on the detail that Dr. Cullen was a vampire and vampires are real, what the fuck is this on the doctor's autopsy table and is he going to wake up again and drink all our blood?, are little use in the investigation. Scotland Yard is soon brought in, and using Chief Swan's connections with the family they get a better picture of Dr. Cullen's life.

His family wasn't looking to inherit him anytime soon, as he was immortal. None of them were having money troubles however, all were independently wealthy.

He had made enemies of a thousand-year-old clan of powerful vampires, who on hearing that his murder is being investigated like this get very upset. Supposedly the victim lived with them in his youth (and inspector Craddock cries when he learns the timeline for this murder goes back to the 1600s. Are they going to have to bring historians in on this murder??), he might have known something

Oh what's that? The victim had a whole network of friends across the globe, who are all killers, and he knew everyone's secrets? ... do we have the budget to investigate this?

The victim was also living next to a tribe of magical shapeshifting wolves evolved specifically to kill his kind. They liked him best and had a line in their treaty that "he dies last". Not sure what to do with this information

Rosalie Hale missing person case from 1933 solved: Carlisle Cullen adopted her. Was she recognised, did someone piece it together, and was Carlisle killed in retribution?

The victim lived a fake life of fake papers. Could be important, except it's the most normal thing about this case.

The police wonder how this man didn't get murdered sooner, and are stretched so thin the investigation is going slowly.

So, Renesmee gets to be our plucky detective du jour, as she decides to see if she can help. Surely there is no harm in her poking around, and she's well liked around the vampire world so there might be answers she can get that human police can't, partly because policemen keep getting eaten.

She slowly narrows it down to the horrible realization that it was someone in the family, and she learns terrible things.

Jasper Hale wasn't Jasper Hale at all! He was a friend of Jasper's in the newborn army who wanted a new life, and who in the wake of Jasper's suden and unexpected death assumed his identity. He had Peter bite his entire face so he'd be scarred like Jasper had been, and vouch for this blond vampire most definitely being Jasper Hale. Peter later had to die because he Knew Too Much, and so did Charlotte, regrettably. Fake Jasper did however not kill Carlisle.

Edward seems a prime suspect, he is an angry and resentful young man who acts out. Everyone thinks he did it, and that Bella should certainly marry Jacob, the safer option. Much upheaval is had, however, once Renesmee is able to clear Edward's name and he meaningfully links arms with Bella. They sail off into the sunset with their inheritance.

Rosalie is a beautiful, cold, intimidating woman, the femme fatale sort who's surely conniving. It's a bit of a mystery why she married that poor fool Emmett, but it's clear to all she doesn't love him. No clear motive from her, other than the money she would inherit, but she's just so suspicious. Her alibi is ambiguous, she claims she was with Esme and Emmett but what if Esme and Emmett are lying to protect their daughter and wife? Superintendent Battle wonders about that.

Renesmee is at a loss.

And then she realizes that it's not Rosalie who acts like she doesn't love Emmett, it's Emmett who acts like he doesn't love her! And Esme's grieving widow act is just that, it's an act!

Renesmee realizes that Emmett and Esme are lovers, and killed Carlisle together. Esme committed it while Emmett tricked Rosalie into giving her an alibi. Renesmee realizes this once she has a "But Rosalie couldn't have seen Esme from that angle!" moment.

The plan was too pin Rosalie for the murder, see her hanged, and then in due time the mourning widowers would marry, happily entitled to all the money they couldn't have touched if they'd divorced. Also Rosalie was Catholic so she wouldn't have agreed to a divorce.

The two lovers are confronted, and Esme pulls out a tiny pearl-studded gun from her shoe, says "We tried, my love. I regret nothing" before shooting first Emmett, then herself.

Larry Stylinson Fic Recs

I have fics I've read recently that I'm obsessed with, and feel like sharing, so I'm dumping them here in a semi-organized fashion. I'll probably do one of these every few weeks/months as I read more and find more I want to recommend.

Many of these are older! From 2012-2015 mainly, because I feel like those don't get enough love nowadays despite being amazing quality.

Section 1: General Recs

Hiding Place - Orphan Author

This is my all-time biggest rec ever. It's extremely canon-compliant (with links to individual tweets and interviews in the fic), soulmate tattoos AU, longfic, and it has a happy ending. It's what solidly hooked me into the fandom.

Section 2: Oblivious Idiots

Fics where Harry and Louis kiss, romance, date, get off, ect before realizing they like each other. Can you tell this is my favourite trope?

Play The Odds - alivingfire

Harry and Louis drunkenly make a bet to prove who's the better kisser, challenging each other to kiss 1000 times. They finally figure out their feelings close to the end of the bet.

Metaphysical Gravity - colazitron

Harry and Louis kiss during a round of spin the bottle, except they get a little too into it.

Play a Chord - spibsy

Having a weekend free of band obligations, Harry and Louis mess around their flat as usual. Except, they start kissing, and it surprisingly doesn't change much. (This is a personal fave of mine, I reread it regularly)

I Don't Know About You, But I Know About Me - Orphan Author

Harry and Louis start arguing about whose better at what, and it turns into an argument of who's the better kisser. They get... extremely carried away.

The Hunger In My Heart - Orphan Author

Harry and Louis dance around each other during the X-Factor before kissing completely on accident, and then poorly hide their relationship from the others.

When I Feel That Something - dvp_95

Harry and Louis are a duo act on the X-Factor, and everyone assumes they're dating before they actually are. Featuring asexual-spec Louis.

All The Kids at School - LikeYouAreInLove

Harry and Louis get voted the hottest couple in school... except they aren't a couple? Yet.

Section 3: OT5 Slash (Larry-centric)

Harry and Louis have sex in front of the other band members. I believe this is part of a series too, the next part includes more active OT5 rather than just exhibitionist Larry.

Bookstores, colleges, any sort of cozy AU that's all fluff and young love.

Louis runs a tumblr account that Harry anonymously messages for weeks, until they meet (unknowingly) in a real-world bookstore and piece things together.

Louis spends Christmas at Harry's place with all of his sisters, and they fall for each other.

Took My Heart Upon a One Way Trip - alwayslouis

A fluff-filled bookstore AU featuring lots of flirting, a poetry assignment, and even more flirting. The banter in this one is hilarious.

Oh We're In Love Aren't We - delsicle

University AU where Harry moves into the apartment above Louis' workplace, and they slowly become features in each other's lives. Featuring trans ftm Harry, and an emotional coming out to Louis.

Section 5: Mental Illness AUs

At Least We're Breathing - JamieJam93

The boys are all in a mental institution for various problems, Harry's being attempted suicide. It mainly follows his POV as him, Louis, and their friends learn to heal with the help of love. Truly a love heals all AU. (Another one of my personal faves)

Could Be Blue, Could Be Grey - nightwideopen

Louis has DID, and his neighbor Harry is surprisingly accepting of it even before either of them know. Warning! This is an old fic from 2015 and the depiction of DID treatment, particularly "killing off personalities" is inaccurate and may be triggering to read. The fic itself, love story wise, is pretty good, but be warned the DID rep is not 100% accurate.
